Lucille A Carson's Obituary
Lucille Carson passed away surrounded by her family on August 31, 2024. Lucille was born in Riverside, NJ. She was a lifelong resident, and it is there that she raised her family with her husband until his early passing in 2006. She was a devout member of Resurrection Parish (which will always be known to her as Saint Casimir’s Church). Lucille spent her career working with children as a family partner for Head Start. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends, especially the holidays. Everyone who crossed her path could only describe her as “the sweetest little woman they ever met”.
Lucille is survived by her three loving children Elisha Carson (Terry Cancelli), Jason Carson and Shawn Carson as well as her sister Francine Livengood (Mike), many nieces and nephews and six beautiful great grandchildren that she was know to as “Mom Mom Lucy”. She is predeceased by her husband William “Mike” Carson, her parents Mark and Dolly Tuscano (nee Zangaro) and her long-time partner Louis “Dave” Barta.
Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate Lucille life on Thursday, September 5th at Resurrection Parish 502 New Jersey Ave, Riverside, NJ 0807. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:30 AM, with a mass and Christian burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
