Lucy Stefano's Obituary
Lucy Stefano (née Todaro) passed away peacefully on Monday, November 20, 2023 with her family by her bedside. Born in Philadelphia, PA to Salvatore and Michelangela Todaro, Lucy was 89 years old. Lucy was a former resident of Cinnaminson, NJ. She is predeceased by her four siblings.
Beloved wife of 67 years to Rocco Stefano and loving mother to Kenneth (Noreen) Stefano, Diane (Thomas) Dougherty, and James (Mary) Stefano. Cherished Nana to Christine (Frank) Brown, Sabrina (DJ) Kastrup, Rocco (Katie) Stefano, Stephanie (Gary) Eastwick, Rachel Stefano, and Katie Stefano; and Nonna to Olivia, Anthony, Tommy, Julian, Alexander, and Vivienne. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
Lucy was a former parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Church in Cinnaminson. She enjoyed spending time with her family; hosting Sunday dinners; cooking; reading, especially the Bible; celebrating her Feast Day; watching Hallmark movies; talking on the phone with family and friends; and sharing stories about her family history. Lucy loved having guests at her home and always made sure they ate plenty of food.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, 42 W. Main Street, Moorestown, NJ. Lucy’s Memorial Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Inurnment will take place immediately following at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 S. Sproul Road, Springfield, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Suncrest Hospice, 51 Haddonfield Road, Suite 125, Cherry Hill, NJ, 08002.
