Karen Brown
Uncle Lyndel, this is still such a shock, but I know you are smiling down on all of us and keeping an eye out as you always did. I allways cherish the moments that I see you and Grandmom in my dreams. Love you and miss you, Karen Leslie

My deepest sympathy to the Brown Family. What has given many much comfort and hope is what Jesus said at John 11:25, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life."
What can I say about Uncle Lyndel . . . . He provided me with a federal job application that ultimately paved my way through my federal government career. Without his support and words of wisdom, I am certain that I would not have maintained 25 years of federal government service. Uncle Lyndel was my "cheerleader" when I suffered set-backs, as well as promotions. Often, he spoke of his federal career with the IRS, which encouraged me to "push through."
One fond memory I have is witnessing Uncle Lyndel talking to my son, Christopher. He referred to Christopher as "Christopher Gerald Walker the Third." Following several facial expressions and a brief pause, Christopher's response was, "No, Uncle Lyndel - Christopher Gerald Walker, Kindergarten!" As you can see, Uncle Lyndel always kept the younger generation "on their toes."
Without a doubt, my children and cousins share the same respect and adoration for him. His legacy will continue to grow through us and generations to come.
Lovingly,
