Although I only had the pleasure of meeting Madeline on several occasions, when I did encounter her, I was struck by her zest for life and her positive energy. She radiated joy.
As a friend of the Myers family, I was aware of her close friendship and compassion for George and Jean Myers. Especially Jean who was her long-time friend and confidante.

I will truly miss you Aunt Madeline. You were such a source of comfort and strength for me when my parents passed away. Your dedication to them while they were sick was an amazing show of love that I will never forget. One of my favorite memories of you, was a visit to my house when my dogs, Reesey & Riley were puppies about 6 months old. You sat down on my sofa and they flanked you, smothering you in puppy kisses, literally knocking you over onto the sofa. While I was horrified and ran to help you, you just laughed hysterically! Your fun loving spirit was a gift you never lost! Your faith was strong and I know you are back in the arms of all your loved ones and Jesus in heaven. God bless and tell everyone I said "Hi."
Madeline was ray of sunshine! She and John were very good friends to both of our parents, and after our Father, George passed, Madeline was such a great support system for our Mom, Jean. That is so much appreciated by me and my brothers. Madeline you will be missed immensely!
