Magdalena "Maggie" DiOrio's Obituary
Magdalena “Maggie” DiOrio (nee Kostek), a lifelong resident of Maple Shade, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2018. Maggie was 79 years old.
Maggie was a crossing guard for Maple Shade for over 20 years. She also served as a Eucharistic Minister for Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Maple Shade for many years. She worked as an office manager for Teamsters Local 676 in Collingswood.
Maggie was the beloved mother of Petrina DiOrio (Kim) and Maureen Newton (Mark). Dear grandmother of Andrew and Sophie. She also leaves behind her cherished dog, Sophie, and many other extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main St., Maple Shade, NJ, 08052, on Saturday, November 24th, from 9:30 am – 11:15 am. Her Memorial Mass will begin at 11:30 am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Maggie’s memory may be made to OLPH at the above address.
