Margaret "Garg" Shay's Obituary
Margaret Jane “Garg” Shay, of Delran, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on August 20, 2018. Born in Philadelphia, she was 89 years old.
Garg was a graduate of St. Hubert’s High School in Philadelphia, PA. She was a secretary for Frankford Arsenal for many years. She retired as a secretary to the principal of South Valley School in Moorestown. She loved to sew, bake, and was an avid reader.
Garg was the beloved sister of Barbara Rosboschil and her husband Jack. Loving aunt of Judy Ramsey (Matt), Marianne Drayer (Bob), and John Rosboschil (Mindy). Great aunt of Katie, Matthew, Jack, RJ, Grace, Hunter, and Liam. Dear cousin of Tom Pappas (Carol).
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Resurrection Parish, Church of the Holy Name site, 260 Conrow Rd., Delran, on Thursday, August 23, from 9 am – 11 am. Her Funeral Mass will begin at 11 am, followed by interment in St. Dominic cemetery on Frankford Ave., Phila. In lieu of flowers, donations in Garg’s memory may be made to Samaritan Hospice, www.samaritannj.org/Giving/memorial-gifts.
