Margaret Mary Pfeifer's Obituary
Margaret Mary Pfeifer, 95, passed away on August 7, 2024. She was born on December 20, 1928, to Francis and Margaret Brennan in Philadelphia, PA. Margaret was the cherished wife of the late John F. Pfeifer and the devoted mother of Virginia "Ginny" Smith (Al), Mark F. Pfeifer, Carl J. Pfeifer (Diane), Mary Pfeifer, and the late Stephen Pfeifer. She was the loving grandmother of Connor (Sasa), Jenna (Dylan), Alana, and the late Christina, and a proud great-grandmother to one on the way. Margaret was predeceased by her siblings.
Known affectionately as Peggy, she graduated from Hallahan Catholic Girls High School before raising her family in Willingboro, NJ. Peggy was an avid ice skater, a passion she pursued for as long as she could. She was also a voracious reader and an enthusiastic shopper, often bringing home new handbags, vases, and clothes after her trips. Peggy worked for many years at Pomeroy’s and later as an administrator at Wells Fargo Bank in Burlington, NJ. She was an active volunteer at Corpus Christi Church in Willingboro, dedicating her time to the soup kitchen. Peggy also enjoyed senior group trips to the Walnut Street Theatre.
Friends and family are invited to gather on Wednesday, August 14th, at Givnish of Marlton, 398 E. Main Street, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, with her memorial service starting at 11:30 AM.
