Margaret L. Schilsky's Obituary
Margaret (Lyndon) Schilsky passed away on October 15, 2018, at the age of 85. She was the daughter of William Lawrence Lyndon of Lyndon, Alberta, Canada and his wife Martha Marie Stevens of Weldon, Iowa.
Margaret graduated from Haddonfield High School in 1951. In her senior year, Muggs was voted Class Wit. She received her BA degree from BGSU in Bowling Green, Ohio in 1955. She was Treasurer of Chi Omega Sorority. She enjoyed doing volunteer work and was Treasurer of the Delran Auxiliary – Zurbrugg Hospital.
Her business career spanned 20 years at Moorestown RCA, included one and a half years at the RCA Van Nuys plant in California. After leaving RCA, she was a permanent part time employee at Campbell Soup, filling in for vacationing secretaries, including 6 days for Campbell’s president.
Marge was a tole painter and received several blue ribbons at the Burlington County Farm Fair. She loved getting together with friends, knitting preemie caps, saying her daily rosary, listening to Lawrence Welk, eating out, doing crossword puzzles, bible study group meetings, bus trips, and a good story.
She is survived by her husband Ted of 45 years; her sister Nancy Loosmann (Joe); her niece Lynn Guerrieri; her great niece Emily and great nephew Christopher.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, October 18th, at Resurrection Parish, Church of the Holy Name site, from 10 – 11 am. Her Memorial Mass will begin at 11 am.
