Margaret Theresa Seymour's Obituary
Margaret Theresa Seymour (Peggy) 90, former longtime resident of Cinnaminson, NJ passed away peacefully on November 26, 2023, with her family by her side.
Born on September 3, 1933, to Raymond and Doris Huml in Philadelphia, PA, she had three siblings, Raymond, Patricia, and Michael, all deceased.
She was the beloved wife of 66 years to the late Louis D. Seymour; Loving mother of Paul M.Seymour (Jennifer), Margaret M. Ehmer, and John R. Seymour (Dawn); Cherished Nana to Elizabeth Duchene (Ryan), Kenneth Ehmer, Jessica L. Brockway (TJ), Katherine L. Seymour and Victoria L. Seymour. Proud Great grandmother to Wyatt J. Brockway and Zoey R. Brockway.
Education was very important to Peggy. She returned to college in the 1970’s to earn her associate degree and bachelor’s degree while raising her children and began a rewarding teaching career including substituting in the Cinnaminson School District, teaching English, and helping students prepare for careers at Lincoln Technical School for many years.
Peggy was involved in the community serving on the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and volunteering at McGuire Air Force Base with her husband for many years. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Guild in Philadelphia and loved having her family attend the annual Christmas party. Peggy and Dan also volunteered at the St. Charles carnival for many years selling raffle tickets just about every night.
Peggy was an avid Phillies fan, watching games every night while they were in Cinnaminson.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, April 27th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North. Peggy and Dan’s Memorial Service will begin at 7 p.m.
