Margarette J. Fletcher's Obituary
Margarette J. Fletcher, of Seabrook Island, SC, at the age of 81 passed away peacefully on Monday, October 10th, 2022.
Margarette was happiest when she was with her family. She was a sun lover and beach walker in the Turks and Caicos Islands and on the shores of South Carolina. She was an associate member of Johns Island Presbyterian Church and a competitive tennis and bridge player; these passions allowed her to grow many deep lasting friendships.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Walter J. Fletcher. She is survived by her children; Kelli Bolen of Sarasota, FL; Gene Fletcher (Luisa) of Lehigh Acres, FL; Suzanne Steele (Richard) of Riverton, NJ; Yvonne Davis (Stacey) of Summerville, SC; and Amanda McDermott (Sean) of Moorestown, NJ.
Her grandchildren, Lauren, Lindsey, Adam, Tara, Cody, Taylor, Tyler, Sean, Riley, Walter, Jack and Nolan and her great granddaughter, Erys. Sisters Helen Getka (Joseph) and Sigrid Malson, sister-in-law Ellen Niwinski (James), nieces and nephews Sigrid, Damon, Margaux, Brittany, Michael and James.
She will be sadly missed by her family and friends but has been reunited with her soulmate in Heaven.
Funeral services will be held at Johns Island Presbyterian Church, 2550 Bohicket Rd, Johns Island, SC 29455, on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 12:15pm. A service will also be held in Cinnaminson, New Jersey at a later date.
