Maria Pia Gallo's Obituary
Maria Pia Gallo (nee Scimitarra), of Maple Shade, NJ, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025. Born in Giulianova, Italy to the late Eugene and Giulia (nee Mancini) Scimitarra, she was 85 years old.
Maria was the beloved mother of Julia Reilly (James) and the late Johnny Gallo; cherished grandmother of Dana Love, Corie Love (Douglas Moppert), Taylor Love, Gary Love, James Reilly (Kari), and Cody Reilly (Kristin); great grandmother of Vienna, Rayna, and Patrick; dear sister of Albert Scimitarra and Vincent Scimitarra; and loving aunt of Diane Blinkly, Lisa Scimitarra and Mark Scimitarra.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 East Main Street, on Friday April 11th from 9 – 10:30 am. Her funeral Mass will be held at 11 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, 236 E. Main Street in Maple Shade, followed by entombment in St. Joseph’s Chapel and Mausoleum, 240 Lower Landing Road, Blackwood, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Maria may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org.
