I can still see her and I together in the hallway at Sharon High School. That's where we met. We were freshmen. We were 14 years old. There was one sister always after Marian to become a nun but I used to say that it was funny that the sister never asked me. She went to Penn and I went to Rosemont. I met my husband at a dance that I went to with Marian, and she met Frank!

From the time I was a little girl, Marian knew how to make me laugh! She used to take me everywhere in her father's light blue and white Oldsmobile and I would love it when I dared her to drive with no hands and she did it! She always made me feel so special even as an adult. I loved it when she and Frank would come stay with me in Florida even though she thought it was too hot in March. These are just a few silly, but fond memories that I will always remember of my dear cousin, Marian.

Marian was a great nurse, a wonderful person and a good friend. We worked together at Wills Eye Hospital for many years. We were also RED HAT SISTERS. She will be missed.
Sending you all our prayers and thoughts. I have such fun memories of when we were young and visited with the Cannon family. My mom (Betty Power) and Marion used to talk SO much and I remember thinking as a little girl how very funny they were together and what good friends they were! They were friends for so very long!
Take care and sending again our prayers and thoughts from my family and Betty and Bill.

Marian and I were true friends. We shared lots of laughs together.
I used to tell her she was my " Most Unforgettable Character"
She would say "Is that good or bad Mary"? I would say of course it's good
because I will never, ever forget you and I love you.
