Marian Snyder's Obituary
Marian R. Snyder, 93, of Millmont, formerly of Maple Shade, New Jersey, entered into rest at 1:55 p.m., Monday, October 1, 2018, at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont.
She was born June 12, 1925, in Herndon, a daughter of the late Frank and Eva (Derck) Doone. On July 18, 1942, she married Ray C. Snyder, who preceded her in death on March 10, 1990.
Marian attended Shamokin High School.
She was employed as a seamstress at various clothing manufacturing companies in Pennsylvania and New Jersey for many years.
Marian attended the Lincoln Chapel United Methodist Church, Laurelton.
She enjoyed reading and completing Sudoku puzzles.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Cheryl Snyder of Millmont; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Nancy and Joe Bosco of Westfield, New Jersey, Thelma Sanfilippo, and Tina and Michael Blair of Vineland, New Jersey; one brother and sister-in-law, Bert and Helen Doone of Delair, New Jersey; one sister, Cora Laughlin of Springs, Pennsylvania; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 14 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Francis Doone, Johnny Doone, and Arlington Doone; and one sister, Laura Edwards.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, October 9th, at East Pennsauken United Methodist Church, 3700 Haddonfield Rd. and Osler Avenue, from 10 am – 11 am. Her service will begin at 11 am, followed by interment in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
