Almost exactly a year after the death of my grandfather, his wife of 70 years and the last of my living grandparents passed away last night. Growing up I spent a lot of time with my grandmother and can still remember her visiting me in the hospital when I had meningitis. I also remember spending time making stuffing and other parts of Thanksgiving dinners with her. We shared an interest in the Phillies who she tried to keep up with until recent years. She was a proper special woman, often the clever moderator, who maintained a lot of memories and history from growing up in Camden to all the changes in Pennsauken and surrounding areas over the years. Mom-mom will surely be missed by her entire family and certainly leaves a hole in my heart. Rest in peace Mom-mom and thank you for everything.
