Marie T. Browne's Obituary
Marie T. Browne (nee Brennan), of Delran, NJ, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 6, 2023. She was 95 years old.
Marie was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Joseph A. Browne; loving mother of Tony Browne, Patrice Kennedy (Kevin), Mary Beth Caracci (Tony), Christopher Browne, Michael Browne, and Patrick Browne; cherished grandmother of Kevin Kennedy, Sean Kennedy (Niki), Collin Kennedy, Seamus Kennedy (Anna), Patrice Caracci Griffin (Jeremy), Kelly Caracci, Nicole Caracci (Chris Bushnell), Erin Browne (Brad Jones), Caitlin Browne, Conor Browne, Loughlin Browne, and Brian Browne; great grandmother of Juliana Christodoulidis, Caden Kennedy, Mya Kennedy, Joseph Kennedy, Sean Kennedy, Katherine Kennedy, Evelyn Kennedy, and Kennedy Griffin. The circle of life continues with the birth of a new great-grandson next month.
Marie was born to Marie Perkins and Michael Brennan on April 4, 1927 in Philadelphia. She is pre-deceased by four siblings; Kathleen Keys, James Brennan, William Brennan, and Margaret Smith.
After growing up in the Fairmount neighborhood in Philadelphia, she moved to Delran, New Jersey in 1956 after marrying Joe Browne. She loved his family and had a special bond with them including Jim Browne, Margaret Browne, Mary Kelly and Jeanne Barunus.
She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Her group of girlfriends from childhood, known as the “Turtles,” remained friends for life and were a source of continuous joy and laughter. Always kind, loving and accepting, she touched everyone she met.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, on Friday evening March 10th from 6 pm - 9 pm, and Saturday morning March 11th from 9 am to 10 am. Her funeral Mass will follow at 11 am at Resurrection Parish, Church of the Holy Name site, 260 Conrow Road, Delran. Interment in St. Peter’s Mausoleum, Bridgeboro St., Riverside, NJ.
