Marie M. Lupo's Obituary
Marie M. Lupo (nee Gavin) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly. Born in Philadelphia, Marie was 70 years old. She was a resident of Moorestown and formerly lived in Willingboro and Philadelphia. Beloved wife of 49 years to James G. Lupo. Loving mother of Donna M. Lupo and James M. Lupo. Sister of the late Vinetta O’Sullivan. Also surviving are two nieces, Kathleen and Denise. Marie was employed as a clinical coordinator for Reimbursement Solutions in Mt. Laurel before retiring several years ago.
Marie enjoyed so many things. Her favorite place to visit was Cape May and she went every year. She loved animals, especially dogs, with a soft spot for Basset Hounds and her latest love, Molly, her nutty Springer Spaniel. She was insane for ice cream and loved a good steak. She loved TV, especially British mysteries and old westerns. Marie was a great cook and baker and everyone who knew her had a favorite of the many special foods she made. She loved holidays and was amazing at making each one of them very special. She had a terrific, contagious laugh and loved absurd humor, especially slapstick. But most of all, Marie loved her family and was never happier than when she was with them.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Marie’s Memorial Mass Tuesday, October 24, 2017, 10:30 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church Branch Pike & Pomona Road Cinnaminson, NJ 08077. Friends may arrive at church 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
