Marie A. Marcantuono's Obituary
Marie A. Marcantuono, 81, of Maple Shade, NJ, passed away suddenly on January 3, 2026. She was born on July 26, 1944, in East Orange, NJ, to the late Peter and Caroline Rosamilia (née Yeager).
Marie was a devoted mother to Stacey Breitenstein (Brett) and Robert Marcantuono (Rebecca), and a loving grandmother to Natalie, Stephanie, Alexander, Kaylee, Lucas, and Lilyana. She was the sister of the late Vincent Rosamilia and will be deeply missed by many other family members and friends.
A longtime and proud resident of Maple Shade, Marie worked for many years at PNC Bank Wealth Management in Moorestown, retiring at the age of 70. Even in retirement, she remained close with her coworkers, often gathering with them to celebrate birthdays and special occasions.
Marie loved baking and cooking for those she loved. She was especially known for her famous “fruit pizza,” which her family affectionately called “little pieces of heaven,” as well as her signature dishes including lasagna, marinated mushrooms, and deviled eggs. She took great joy in passing these treasured recipes down to her grandchildren.
Marie also enjoyed crafts and cherished time spent with her grandchildren, taking them on special outings to places like the library and Home Depot for craft activities.
Marie considered her greatest accomplishment to be raising her children and being a devoted grandmother.
