Marie A. Melnyk's Obituary
Marie (née Masishin) passed away peacefully on June 29, 2014 at the Wiley Christian Home, Marlton. Marie was a resident of Cinnaminson for nearly 50 years.
Born in Chester, PA, Marie was 82 years old.
Marie was employed for over 25 years at the Riverton Country Club as a banquet coordinator and also as a waitress. Beloved wife of 61 years to the late Eugene Melnyk. Loving mother of Deborah (Al) Shinn, Karen (Alan) Ferraro and Don (Michelle) Melnyk. Loving grandmother of Amy (David) Meenan, Thomas (Jamie) Shinn, Mark Ferraro, Kevin Melnyk and Dana Melnyk. Great grandmother of Kayla & Alexis Meenan and Zachary Shinn. Also survived by her brother Joseph (Marie) Masishin and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Marie's Life Celebration and viewing Monday Eve 7-9 p.m. at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North (prayer service 7:30 p.m.), and Tuesday 8:30-9:30 a.m. at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 6740 N. 5th St. Phila., PA 19126. Her Rite of Burial Service will follow at 9:30 a.m. Interment at Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral and/or Church Without Borders, 795 East Route 70, Suite E-169, Marlton, NJ 08053.
