Marie J Tufano's Obituary
Mary Cifrese Tufano of Marlton, formerly of Morristown NJ, passed on December 4,
2023.
Mary (Maria) was born on August 12, 1927 in Morristown, to Domenico Cifrese and Filomena Dimichino. She is survived by her children Michael Tufano, Jr. and Jaxie; Diane Jastrzembski and Joseph; grandchildren Nicholas, Katie, Michele, Mary, Jillian, and Beau and their spouses; and her great-granddaughter, Tessa. She was predeceased by her husband of 73 years, Michael Tufano; sisters Rose Antonaccio, Grace Perillo, Vita Albanese, and her brothers Vito and Ralph Cifrese.
Mary was a 1945 graduate of Morristown High School. She worked for many years in Morristown in bookkeeping and office administration. In her retirement she volunteered these skills for several charities in Morristown and later in Marlton. Mary was able to live her dream of visiting the US from coast to coast, while always declaring New Jersey as her home. Most important in life to Mary was her home and family.
Mary's graveside service will be on Friday, January 5th at 11 am, at Holy Rood Cemetery, 61 Whippany Rd, Morristown, NJ 07960.
