Mark Allen Denny's Obituary
Mark Allen Denny, of Mount Holly formerly of Delran, NJ, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on February 28, 2025. Born in Camden, NJ to the late Louis and Brenda (nee Koerner) Denny, he was 59 years old.
Mark was a man of many quirks, endless silliness, and unwavering love. Mark was never without his Dunkin’ Donuts coffee in hand, a small ritual that brought him comfort and joy each day. He also had a special place in his heart for cars, often spending hours at the dealership just admiring the latest models, dreaming about his next big purchase. In his professional life, Mark worked as an HVAC technician, always taking pride in his work and helping others stay comfortable in their homes. His dedication and strong work ethic were an inspiration to all who worked with him. A proud father to Mark, Doug, and Christine he always put family first and filled our lives with love and laughter. No matter what, he was always there—on the sidelines, in the stands, or in the gym—cheering them on at every game, match, and competition. Whether it was an early Saturday morning soccer match or a thrilling wrestling tournament, Mark was always front and center, supporting his children with enthusiasm and pride. He never missed a game or a match, and his presence was a constant source of encouragement. He celebrated every victory and comforted every loss, reminding his children that the true value lay in the effort and perseverance, not just the score. Whether through a quiet word of encouragement or simply being there when we needed him, he made us feel safe, valued, and deeply loved. Mark was the beloved husband of Lynne Anne Denny (nee Raymond) for 33 years; loving father of Mark A. Denny Jr. (Cicelly), Douglas Denny, and Christine Denny (Cameron); cherished Pop Pop of Mark A. Denny III; dear brother of Karen Grace (George), Louis Denny Jr. (Shirley), and brother-in-law of Robert Raymond III (Lori), John Raymond (Michelle), David Raymond (Cherie), and Steven Raymond (Kristy). Mark was predeceased by his beloved dog, Tasha. He leaves behind his adoring dog Levi, many nieces and nephews and extended family members and friends who will miss him greatly.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, on Wednesday March 5th from 9 am to 11:30 am. A service will begin at 11:30 am. Interment will be private.
