Mark Francis Pinkavitch's Obituary
Mark Francis “Marvelous” Pinkavitch, 65, of Mount Laurel, NJ, passed away peacefully on
November 6, 2024, surrounded by those he loved most. Born on December 6, 1958, in Mount
Holly, NJ, he was the cherished son of Francis and Marie Pinkavitch.
Mark was the devoted husband of Marlene Pinkavitch (nee King), with whom he shared 44
beautiful years of marriage. He was the beloved father of AnnaMarie Pinkavitch and Sarah
Pinkavitch, and the loving brother of Karen Belleran and Dawn Craft (Arnie). His absence will be
deeply felt by numerous friends, extended family, and his adored grand-puppies.
Affectionately known as “Marvelous Mark,” he was a social butterfly who brought warmth and
joy to every room he entered. His boundless energy and devotion to family shone through in his
passionate coaching of his daughters’ soccer teams, where he not only served as a coach but
also the trusted equipment manager for the whole league. His kindness knew no bounds, as
evidenced by the soccer program he created for blind children, embodying his spirit of inclusivity
and compassion.
A man of many talents, Mark was an avid outdoorsman and a proud honorary member of the
Buckridge Sportsman Club, where he enjoyed hunting and cherished time spent at the “Crooked
Shack.” He had an impressive gift for training Doberman dogs and found joy in the simple
pleasures of life.
Every 4th of July, Mark’s community could find him participating in the Riverton Parade, proudly
steering his dump truck for the Veteran’s. Above all, Mark’s greatest joy was his family, to whom
he was fiercely loyal and endlessly loving.
Mark’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and a life lived to the fullest. His memory will continue to
inspire and comfort all who knew him.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, November 15th, from 10 – 11:30 am at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North. A funeral service will begin at 11:30 am. Interment will be private.
