Mark Anthony Zangaro's Obituary
Mark Anthony Zangaro, of Riverside, passed away suddenly on April 13, 2019 at 59 years old.
He was the loving husband of Evelyn Horowitz-Zangaro for 35 years, cherished father of Mara Zangaro-Carolan and her husband Alan (Rossi), and Jacob Zangaro as well as his beloved puppy Lucy. Cherished son of Alma Zangaro and son-in-law of Barbara “Bobbi” Horowitz-Rigg. Brother of Joseph Zangaro and his wife Kathleen Carney, nephews Kief and Joseph Zangaro, and niece Kathryn Zangaro-Pedreira. Godfather of Melissa Barth. Mark was predeceased by his father, Anthony Zangaro.
After 40 years with his Philadelphia Folk Festival Talentsuckers family he leaves us with another empty chair to be filled by his spirit. Mark was an avid golfer, loved his darts and horseshoes nights at Turners, coaching youth baseball, all Philly sports teams, being a backstage fiddle dad, telling jokes, and making friends. He also leaves behind other extended family members and dear friends that will miss him tremendously.
