Martin "Murph" Nicholson's Obituary
Martin J. “Murph” Nicholson, of Tabernacle, formerly of Maple Shade, passed away on November 30, 2017. He was 93 years old.
Murph was a WWII Navy Veteran and worked as an accountant for many years at Lavino Shipping in Philadelphia.
Murph was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy L. (nee Moore). Loving father of Martin “Pat” Nicholson and his wife Valerie, and of the late Stephen Nicholson. Dear grandfather of Chad (Opalyn), Jill (Dan), and Tricia (Karl). Great grandfather of Kelsey, Jake, Mya, Kallan, Layla, and Carter. Dear brother of Patricia “Patsy” Nicholson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Murph’s life celebration gathering at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 E. Main Street, on Wednesday, December 6th, from 10 – 11 am. His prayer service will begin at 11 am, followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Baily Rd., Yeadon, PA.
