Mary A. Booth's Obituary
Mary A. Booth (née Alexander) of Cinnaminson, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on March 20, 2026, at the age of 80.
Born on April 10, 1945, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mary was the beloved daughter of the late John Alexander and Agnes Alexander (née Doyle).
Mary was the devoted wife of Gerald J. Booth for 56 years, with whom she shared a loving marriage rooted in faith, friendship, and family. She was a caring and dedicated mother to Chris Booth (Jennifer), Gina Elliott (Rick), Tim Booth (Cate), and Brendan Booth (Lauren). As a stay-at-home mother, Mary devoted her life to caring for her family and creating a home filled with love. Her family was her greatest gift.
She was a proud and cherished Mom-Mom to Conor, Colin, Ryan, Karly, Owen, Jaylin, Leah, Brianna, and Killian. Mary found immense joy in her grandchildren and was endlessly proud of each of them and their accomplishments. She celebrated their lives with love and took great comfort in watching them grow.
She is survived by her siblings Michael Alexander (Barbara), Cass McDevitt (Mick), and Joanne Wilson (Bill), whom she loved dearly, along with many nieces and nephews.
Mary was a polio survivor and faced many challenges throughout her life. However, she never allowed it to define or limit her. Instead, it shaped her into a woman with a remarkable, quiet strength. Mary was never one to seek the spotlight, instead let those around her shine.
Mary will be remembered for her strength, her deep love for her family, and her quiet faith. Her life was a reflection of devotion, resilience, and selfless care for others.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 103 Fourth Street, Riverton, NJ 08077.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (a link will be provided on the funeral home website).
May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
