We marveled as she walked about complaints we never heard
Too busy thanking everyone so gracious her every word
It seems to be the simple things small habits we grew to know
Her daily news her love of sweets her lucky wins at bingo
We write this ode to Mary to thank her family for the pleasure
To help and entertain her it was a privilege one could never measure
