I didn't know Ms. Mary that well at all but I did have the pleasure of spending a few hours chatting with her (as I was running around her cute little home cleaning a bit). She was really interesting to talk to and I am sure that within that little bit of time that I was there I got the full story of the Whitman factory. hahaha I believe I met her when she was 94 and I was truly amazed how ALL together her mind still was. She kept on telling me to sit down and talk LOL but I was there to do a service but I did as she asked cuz her little stories were so fascinating and of course I try to respect my elders. Anyway after we chatted a bit I went upstairs to continue working and as I was vacuuming I noticed that I was sucking up a bill and I hurried and turned off the vacuum . Well it was a $10 bill so I finished what I was doing and took it downstairs and gave it to Ms. Mary and she joked with me saying oh I see you found my stash LOL...we laughed and I went about my business taking my equipment to the car. Before I left she shoved the $10 extra at me and said this is your tip and smiled really big :) You know that day I left Aunt Marys house feeling like I had known her for yrs. and I felt like I was so blessed to have been able to spend time with such a wise,genuine,peaceful woman. I should've paid her for her services!!!
