I have only the happiest of memories of Aunt Mary. She always had a funny story for me and was the life of the party. First on the dance floor, placing her big hat on people that would never normally allow that, and always remembering the smallest details of a person's life. My mom pushed Aunt Mary in the baby coach and my mom was afraid people would mistake her as Aunt Mary's mother. Mom also had the job of collecting a refrigerator box to use as Aunt Mary's playpen. My mom like to tell the following story: Aunt Mary slept with Grand mom once and dreamed that she took her chameleon to bed. When Aunt Mary sat up in bed and was feeling around the bed to find her chameleon Grand mom said, "Mary what are you doing?" Aunt Mar said in her sleep, "I can't find my chameleon!" Poor Grand mom became upset and said"Oh Mary, you know I sleep with my mouth open." Aunt Mary always had time to chat with me on the phone, cheer me up with a laugh, and fill me in on family news. She was tiny in height and big in heart. To the Cloran Family, you did a beautiful celebration of your mom's life and she is beaming with pride from heaven. Love, Karen
