Mary Barbara Cucinotta's Obituary
Mary Barbara Cucinotta, age 93, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on February 28, 2024.
She was the daughter of Frank and Anna Duetsch. Mary was born, raised and lived her entire life in Maple Shade and was a lifelong parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. She graduated from the grade school and then Camden Catholic in 1948, (aka Medicine Mary) worked at Sun Ray Drug and retired in 2014 after 45 years of service. In her heyday, she enjoyed being with her family, singing, dancing, running around with her two sisters and a good beer. Mary enjoyed all types of music from Tom Jones to Pit Bull, her flowers, watching and talking to her blue jays and cardinals. Greatest Love... her grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 44 years, Joseph Cucinotta, Survived by her son, Joseph Jr. (Patti) of Pennsauken, daughter Robin of Maple Shade, son Michael (Kelly) of Mt. Laurel. Also survived by her grandchildren, Joseph of Philadelphia, PA, Thomas of Stockton, CA and Rachel Creed (Ethan) of Greensburg, NC. Mary will be missed greatly by many nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 East Main Street, on Monday evening March 4th from 6 – 8 pm and Tuesday morning March 5th from 9:30 – 10:30 am. Her funeral Mass will begin at 11 am on Tuesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main Street, Maple Shade, NJ, followed by interment in Calvary cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
