Mary M. Gryger's Obituary
Mary M. Gryger, of Mount Laurel, NJ, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on October 11, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Bernard and Magdalene (nee Miskiel) Ginkiewicz, she was 92 years old.
Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, the late Henry “Hank” Gryger, and her siblings, Dorothy Jaskel and Raymond Ginkiewicz.
She was the cherished mother of Dana Gryger (Mary), Michael Gryger (Peggy), and Kenneth Gryger (Liz). Dear grandmother of Sara Showers (CJ), Alex Gryger (Stephanie), David Gryger, Sean Gryger (Morgan), Kevin Gryger (Stephanie), Emma Gryger (Tomas), and Madalyn “Maddy” Gryger (Isaac). She is also survived by many extended family members and friends who will miss her tremendously.
Mom Mary loved her husband Hank, her sons and daughters-in-law, her grandchildren, Hawaii, St. Pete’s Beach, the beach, her garden. She loved family gatherings and keeping in touch with family and extended family. She loved reading, games and jigsaw puzzles. Mary was kind, caring, thoughtful and generous with her time and resources. Mary was a great cook and baker. These and many other positive traits, how she approached life and her faith, form Mary’s legacy to us all, for which she will be remembered and sorely missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, 236 E. Main Street in Maple Shade, on Saturday, November 25th, from 10:15 am to 11 am. Funeral Mass will begin at 11 am. The Mass will be livestreamed from the church website, www.olphparish.com, select "Livestream".
