Mary Faith Molnar's Obituary
Mary Faith Molnar (nee Flynn), 86, of Delran, NJ, formerly of Cinnaminson, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s residence on September 21, 2024 in Myrtle Beach, SC.
Born on December 7, 1937, in Philadelphia, PA, Mary was the beloved daughter of Francis and Savada Flynn. She was the devoted wife of the late Arthur K. Molnar Jr., with whom she shared nearly 60 years of marriage before his passing in 2019. Mary is survived by her loving children: Thomas Molnar (Susan), Karen Klapsogeorge (Jim), Arthur K. Molnar III (Dawn), Rosemary Halgas (Chris), Mary Ann Tufo (Dominic), and Mary Beth Atkinson (Bob). She was a cherished Grandmother to her 10 grandchildren: Thomas Jr., Mary Kate, & Kalman Molnar; Anthony (Juae) Molnar; Lauren Molnar; Gianna & Chloe Halgas; and Brooke, Brianna, & Robert Atkinson. She also delighted in being a great-grandmother to Mary Jane and Gyrich Molnar.
A proud graduate of St. John the Baptist High School in Manayunk (Class of 1955), Mary also attended the Berte School of Fashion Design. Mary’s early career included working at Penn Salt, Burpee Seed, Avis and Eastern Airlines before settling down with her husband and starting a family. Mary was a homemaker while raising her children. Her passion for baking was well known, and she often filled her home with the sweet aroma of cookies and cakes. Notably, she once baked over 1,000 pounds of cookies for her church. Mary was also a talented artist whose creativity touched many.
Mary’s presence will be profoundly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Friends and family are invited to gather for a viewing on Friday, September 27th from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North. A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Church of Cinnaminson at 10:30 AM, with burial at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory may be made to Wreaths Across America and/or Saint John the Baptist, Manayunk.
