Mary Margaret Owens' Obituary
Mary Margaret Owens (Brennan), of Palmyra, Delran, and Hainesport, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on August 31, 2018. Born in Philadelphia, she was 95 years old.
Mary worked as a caregiver to her beloved Robert, for whom she cared for 20 years. She retired in May of this year. She loved her Miller Lite and a good sale at Boscov’s.
Mary was the beloved mother of Janice Brownell (Allen), Jillanne Bagnell (Bill), and the late Joseph F. Owens Jr. Loving grandmother of Eric Bersheim, Patrick Bagnell (Beth), Paul Bagnell (Desiree) and Amy DeSanto (Pasquale). Great grandmother of Liam Bagnell, Madeline Bagnell, Caroline Bagnell, Olivia Mary DeSanto, and Pasquale DeSanto III. Dear sister of Doris Lichtner, and a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Brennan, and her sister, Rita Bilger.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 N., on Friday, September 7th, from 11:30 am – 1:15 pm. Mary’s funeral Mass will follow at 2 pm at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Marne Highway in Hainesport. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory may be made to Acacia Hospice, 902 Jacksonville Rd., Burlington, NJ 08016.
