Mary E. Walling's Obituary
Mary E. Walling (nee Wright), of Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away on March 14, 2024. Born on March 16, 1937 in Mt Holly, NJ to the late George and Hilda Wright, and raised in Moorestown, NJ, she was 86 years old.
Mary lived in Cinnaminson and was a recent resident of Brightview Greentree. Mary was a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a “step monster”, and a grandmother. She was a secretary, teacher, play director, an accomplished sewer, cook, and housekeeper. She was extremely creative and sewed her own clothes. She made a prom dress for a neighbor as well. She was a creative writer, and a director of Sunday School play, “Charle Brown’s Christmas”. Mary was a cook and canner, a hiker, a camper, a cross country skier, and an animal lover (especially cats). Mary always had good things to say about others. She loved everyone and everything equally, as well as Guinness.
She graduated from Moorestown High School and Pierce Business School, Philadelphia.
Mary was the beloved wife of Kenneth Walling; widow of David M. Miller; loving mother of Amy Glessner and David M Miller, Jr., and stepmother of John Walling, Kevin Walling (deceased) and Melissa Walling. Dear sister of Joy Williams and Pam Hemphill. She is survived by one granddaughter, Julia Glessner, and three step grandchildren, Chancellor Negri, Kira Bond and Paxton Terrell.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, on Wednesday March 20th from 10 to 11 am. A service will begin at 11 am, and will be livestreamed: https://www.viewlogies.net/givnish/LnS8gcJ1E?pin=412128. Interment will be private.
