MaryJane Lods' Obituary
MaryJane Lods (née Cleary), of Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025, at the age of 94.
Born in Woodhaven, NY, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Catherine (née Kinkel) Cleary. MaryJane was the beloved wife of the late Louis E. Lods, who passed in 2014. She was the devoted mother of Philip Lods and the cherished grandmother of Daniel Lods, whom she adored.
A devout Catholic, MaryJane was a long-time parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Church in Cinnaminson. She lived her faith with grace and kindness, embodying compassion and generosity throughout her life.
MaryJane was exceptionally creative and talented. She was an accomplished cook and baker, famously known for her delicious Christmas cookies, which she lovingly prepared each year for family and friends. Artistic by nature, she had a passion for arts and crafts and was particularly gifted in needlepoint, cross-stitching, and sewing. Whether tailoring pants, designing curtains, or crafting imaginative Halloween costumes, MaryJane never turned down a new creative project.
Proud of her Irish heritage, MaryJane carried her roots with pride and joy. She also had a love for the game of golf, and she and her husband Louis enjoyed many golf trips together with friends to Ocean City, Maryland, and Myrtle Beach. She was also a former member of the Burlington Country Club.
Above all, MaryJane lived a full and happy life surrounded by love. Her warmth, creativity, and unwavering devotion to her family—especially her grandson Daniel—will be remembered and treasured always.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, on Thursday evening, September 18th from 7 pm – 9 pm. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 19th at 10:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 2500 Branch Pike, Cinnaminson, NJ, followed by interment in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ, where she will be laid to rest next to her dear husband Louis.

In lieu of flowers, donations in MaryJane’s memory may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. Charles Borromeo Church.
