Angela and the Veneziale family,
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I was fortunate to call Matt a friend for many years. We first shared the field together winning a Pop Warner championship, and as life went on, our friendship only grew stronger.
Some of my fondest memories with Matt were the nights we’d stay up late, just laughing about life. We could talk for hours about anything and everything — sports, family, and the little things that make life meaningful. Matt had a gift for making those moments unforgettable, and I’ll always cherish them.
Even though time and distance sometimes got in the way, I always knew that if I called Matt, he would pick up. That’s the kind of friend he was — loyal, dependable, and genuine.
But more than anything, he was a devoted family man. I know how much he loved all of you, and I hope it brings comfort to know how many lives he touched with his kindness, humor, and heart.
He will be missed dearly, but he will never be forgotten.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Jim Kennealy
