Maureen Ann Emig's Obituary
Maureen Ann Emig, 60, passed away peacefully on her 60th birthday, January 16, 2023. Born to the late Charles Emig Sr and the late Anna Marie Emig in Camden, NJ on January 16, 1963. Dear sister to Theresa Zimecki (Wayne), the late Denise Boothman, Charles Emig Jr (Alise), Kevin Emig (Donna), Xavier Emig (Kathy), Marie Keller and Michael Emig (Paul). Longtime bestfriend to Beverly Bantivoglio and her little puppy Ellie, the love and sunshine of her life. Maureen is survived by 9 nieces, 9 nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Maureen received her associates degree in nursing at Gloucester County Community College and went on to receive her Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Immaculata University. She was employed at Kennedy/ Jefferson for 37 years, eventually rising up to her final position as Nursing Director of Operations. Maureen was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Phillies.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Friday, January 20th at Givnish of Maple Shade, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and again on Saturday, January 21st at Our Lady of Perpetual Help of Maple Shade, from 10-11:00am with her memorial mass at 11:00am. Inurnment to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill.
