May Marie Fields (nee Bernard)
Our beautiful mother age 92 passed away on Saturday morning, July 11, 2026. She had been surrounded by many family members for her last week and she is now at peace.
May Bernard was born in West Virginia to Zelda and Earl Bernard. After high school May went on to work in the big city of Cleveland, Ohio for the FBI. She was very, very proud of the fact that she did that. She met A. Robert Fields (Bob) and they were married in 1955, they had four children, Leslie(Tom), Diane(Michael), Bobby(Bonnie) and David(Beth). The Fields family moved to Cinnaminson New Jersey in 1965 and that is where she raised her family. Bob and May retired to Beverly Hills Florida in 1995 where they golfed and traveled. They visited almost every state and every National Park; Mom loved the beautiful America. May loved to golf, as she was in many different leagues through the years. She played Mexican Train, Bridge, Hand and Foot, and she was an avid card shark when playing 500 Rummy. She beat us most of the time, she was an Ace Magnet.
May was predeceased by her parents and her husband and her brother. She is survived by her sister Dorothy, her four children, her six grandchildren, and her three great grandchildren all of whom loved her very much and will miss her dearly.
Services will be held at a later date.
