Medy Garlitos' Obituary
Medy Garlitos (nee Escorpizo) of Marlton, New Jersey formerly of Cinnaminson, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at her son’s home in Charlotte, North Carolina. Born in the Philippines to the late Leoncio and Casimira Escorpizo, she was 95 years old.
Medy was the beloved wife of the late Eligio Garlitos; loving mother of Martin C. Garlitos (Lori) and Sergio Tandoc (Patricia); cherished grandma of Lilly Tandoc; and dear aunt of Chris Tandoc and his sons, Dylan and Devon Tandoc.
She was the eldest of ten children and the cherished matriarch of her family, lovingly known as “Manang-Med.” She is survived by her siblings Primitiva Mona Villardi, Anita Ceily Escorpizo, Romualdo Romie Escorpizo, Leonarda Mary Escorpizo, and Jaime Jimmy Escorpizo. She was predeceased by her siblings France’s Escorpizo, Juanita Escorpizo, Pelong Escorpizo, and Roger Escorpizo.
She is also survived by many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, May 16th at Givnish of Cinnaminson, 1200 Route 130 North, from 9:30 – 10:30 am. A service will begin at 10:30 am, followed by interment in Lakeview Memorial Park, 1300 Route 130 North, Cinnaminson, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Medy’s name may be made to the charity of your choice.
