Michael Ashton's Obituary
Michael Ashton, lifelong resident of Delran, passed away suddenly at his home on July 19, 2015. He was 30 years old.
Mike worked at Honda America in Mount Laurel for many years. He was a member of the U.A.W. Local 1612.
Mike was the beloved son of John J. Ashton Sr. and Patricia M. Ashton (nee Spross). Loving brother of John J. Ashton Jr. and Caitlin Ashton. Dear grandson of his “Nanny” Anna Ashton. Loving nephew to Joseph Ashton (Denise), James Spross (Kathy), Robert Spross (Eileen), Anne Ashton, Kathy Linden (Dennis), Nancy Barr, Cathy Ruth, and Bernadette Edelstein (late Phil). He will be greatly missed by his many cousins, friends, and his dog, Moe.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mike’s life celebration memorial gathering on Thursday at Resurrection Parish, Church of the Holy Name site, 260 Conrow Rd., Delran, from 9 am – 12 pm. His Memorial Mass will begin at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mike’s name may be made to the Animal Welfare Association, 509 Centennial Blvd., Voorhees, NJ 08043, www.awanj.org.
