Michael Daniel Citro (professional boxing name “Mickey Daniels”). Age 90 years old. Passed away suddenly on June 19, 2016 with his family at his side.
Beloved husband of 59 years to Janet McDaniel Citro. Loving father of Michael (Caroline) Citro, Anita (John) Insogno, Louis (Kellie) Citro and Thomas (Donna) Citro. Devoted grandfather of Michael, Louis, Dana, Thomas, Brittany, Gabrielle, Brandon and Casey.
Michael proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII, where he served on the DE The Melvin R. Nauman. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Michael’s Life Celebration and viewing Thursday, June 23, 2016, from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Presentation BVM Church, 100 Soldiers Road, Cheltenham, PA. His Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. Interment, with Military Honors, will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA.
