Michael Anthony Kurzeja's Obituary
Michael Anthony Kurzeja, a resident of Marlton, passed away on January 10th surrounded his family. He was 76. Married the love of his life, Sonia A. (Nee Martino) on June 10, 1967. Dear son of the late Michael Albert Kurzeja and Genevieve (nee Kieran). Loving father of Michael Damien Kurzeja (Heather) and Kerri Lipinski (Stephan). Proud Pop to Alexis Kurzeja-Reed (Nicholas), Lucas Lipinski, Brandon Kurzeja and Grace Lipinski. Dear brother of Robert Kurzeja, Loretta Woolley and the late Maryann Germann.
Michael was born in Jersey City, NJ, graduated from Trenton State College in Ewing NJ. He retired as a Lieutenant from the New Brunswick Police Department, City of New Brunswick, NJ. He enjoyed fishing and bowling with the Village Greenes Community and Medford Lanes.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial service, Saturday January 20th 9:00am to 10:45am at Givnish’s of Marlton followed by his Memorial Mass 11:00am at St. Joan of Arc Church. Burial with military honors at Brig General Wm.C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery will be at a later date.
