Michael F. McDonough Sr.'s Obituary
Michael F. McDonough, Sr., of Maple Shade, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on September 8, 2015. He was 77 years old.
Michael was the beloved husband of the late Barbara McDonough (nee Schmidt).
Loving partner of 31 years to Elaine M. Harris. Loving father of Michael F. McDonough, Jr. (Amanda).Dear brother of Cecilia Cichon (Leon), Hannah Schlepko (Joseph, and the late Joan Marie McGovern. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, including Michelle Kiley and Elaine Kernan, who shared in his caregiving. He is predeceased by his parents, Francis and Cecilia McDonough.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Michael’s life celebration and visitation on Saturday, September 12, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 236 E. Main St., Maple Shade, from 10 am - 11:20 am. His funeral Mass will begin at 11:30 am. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery, 4500 Levick St., Philadelphia. Best route to take would be Route 38 W. to Maple Shade twp: take S. Forklanding Rd. to W. Mill Rd. Turn right onto W. Mill Rd., and left onto S. Poplar Avenue. The parking lot for the church will be on the right.
