Michael K. Pierce's Obituary
Michael Pierce passed away peacefully on Monday, March 25, 2024, at Laurel Brook Rehabilitation Center in Mt. Laurel with his family by his bedside. Born in Paterson, NJ, to Walter and Elizabeth M. Pierce, Michael was 74 years old. He was a resident of Cherry Hill for the last 6 years and formerly lived in Deptford and Mantua, NJ.
Beloved husband of 50 years to the late Linda F. Pierce (nee Wlasuk) who passed away in 2022.
Loving father of Leah P. Steward, Amanda P. (William) Batman and Adam M. (Jeanette) Pierce. Cherished grandpa to Jacob, Samantha, Nathan, Benjamin, Zachary, Luke, Chase, Kellen and Aubrey.
Michael is survived by brothers David (Kathy) Pierce, Stephen Pierce, Edward (Susan) Pierce and Robert (Pamela) Pierce, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Michael was devoted to his wife, Linda, and loved traveling with her. They would frequently enjoy evenings out to dinner. He was involved in Deptford sports and liked playing golf on Sunday mornings with his buddies. He loved watching the Eagles and the Phillies. He was well respected at his job where he worked for 42 years.
Mike was also the epitome of a family man. He could always be found at any of his grandchildren’s sports games, hanging with them by his pool and on Friday pizza nights. He loved taking his family to the Jersey shore, with excursions to AC and putting it all on 23.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, March 30th from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 East Main Street. Family will be sharing memories at 2 p.m.
