Michael "Mikey" Ploskina's Obituary
Michael “Mikey” Ploskina passed away suddenly on Monday, March 5, 2018. Born in Meadowbrook, PA, Mikey was 32 years old. He was a resident of Philadelphia and formerly lived in Florida, Mississippi, and Hawaii. He graduated from Neshaminy High School (Class of 2003).
Loving son of Michael and Irene (nee Uryniuk) Ploskina.
Dear brother of Kate (Kevin) Scanlon. Cherished uncle of Connor Scanlon.
Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mikey proudly served his country in the US Navy.
He was employed as a 3-D X-ray technician specialist for KaVo Kerr Group.
Mikey was an avid outdoorsman and a Philadelphia sports fanatic.
He will be sadly missed by his loving family.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at St. Christopher Church 13301 Proctor Road Philadelphia, PA 19116. His Memorial Mass will follow at 11 a.m.
