It is with tremendous sadness that I learned of Mike's passing today as I'm trying to get in touch with his wife Beth. We knew Beth and Mike for many, many, years because of our children. I have such fond memories of Mike. He was a terrific guy, a gentle soul, and a great husband and father. I'm so sorry for this tremendous loss. I'm trying to get in contact with you!! It's with great sadness that I learned of Mike's passing today. My condolences go out to Beth and their children and to his beloved brothers and sisters. I remember the first time I met Mike. It was in the 5 th grade and we were working in Mrs. Robertson's room when there was a knock on the door. Mrs. Robertson escorted this big kid (wearing the brown jacket and tie that's posted on the memory wall) into the room and introduced him to the class. She then said "Ronnie, please show Michael around.". He got settled into the desk beside me and the first thing I said to him was "You play football? We play every recess.". That started a good friendship that lasted many years. 'Wags', you're missed already.

Our family moved to Franklin, PA in 1974 & we shared the neighborhood with the Wagners and other families until 1977. I remember Mike as a big & strong guy...perhaps the strongest person I'd ever met up until that point in my life. My favorite memory is when Mike (12th grade) was the base of of a 5-person human totem pole inside the Wanago Country Club pool. With Susie (7th grade), on Craig's (8th grade) shoulders, Susie & Craig on Scott's (10th grade) shoulders, & Susie, Craig & Scott on Mark's (11th grade) shoulders, Mike went under water, then lifted all the 4 kids of the MacLeod Clan onto his shoulders & out of the water, keeping them balance for quite some time. No doubt a record that still stands today. He was definitely a blast to have in the pool. RIP

So sorry to here’s about Mike. As a neighbor/friend in high school, we worked together one summer as grunts for a local home builder. I got to know Mike pretty well that summer prior to college and adult life. My thought and prayers to the family and siblings.

I worked for/ with Mike for several years. I loved his "we are having a steak dinner after everyone of our meetings! ". Always pleasant, loved his family and a very caring individual!
I worked for Mike for several years. He always had time to talk to you and find out how things were going. He always greeted people with a big smile. He was a true gentleman.

Mike was my college teammate, roommate, and best man in my wedding. He was a great friend, and person that everyone liked, respected and loved. Many fond memories of a true friend.
