Miriam R. Nase's Obituary
Miriam Gibbons Nase (nee Raughley) passed away peacefully at her home in Moorestown at the age of 91. Miriam was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 1932, the daughter of Arlington Denver Raughley and Martha Raughley (nee Carter), and sister of Jean Carter Lynn (nee Raughley). She graduated from Murrell Dobbins Vocational Technical High in Philadelphia in 1950.
Miriam was employed at Marlton based builder/developer Davis Enterprises for over 55 years where she was highly respected by her employees, tenants, and business associates. Miriam served as president of Davis Enterprises from 1985 to 2019. She was an avid traveler and supporter of animal welfare charities.
Miriam was predeceased by son David Carter and daughter Martha Susan. She is survived by sons Charlie (Angel) of Medford and Jeffery (Rhonda Arenson) of Maple Shade; grandsons Christopher (Christina) of Mount Laurel, Stephen (Heather) of Jersey City, and Joshua of Moorestown; and great grandchildren Allison, John-Charles, Olivia, and Wyatt.
Interment will be private at the request of the deceased. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to The Burlington County Animal Shelter.
