Mitchell Mahealani Pelekane's Obituary
Mitchell Mahealani Pelekene passes away unexpectedly on June 13, 2025. Born in Kailua-Kona HI to Michael Samson Pelekene, Sr. and Monica Kaluna Enos. Mitchell was 59 years old. Mitchell is predeased by his father Michael Samson Pelekene, Sr. and his step dad, Norman Lucas Enos and his brother Michael Samson Kalani Pelekane III.
Mitch is survived by his life partner, Dr. Brian Fedgchin of Riverton, his mother Monica Enos of Kailua, his sisters Kauikeolani Pelekane of Honolulu HI and Michele Pelekane of Seattle, WA, his Hanai Brother: Michael “Nui” (Beth) Lester of Mississippi and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunty’s and uncles as well as many dear close friends. He was a resident of Riverton since 2008 and formerly lived in Cherry Hill NJ and Washington DC. Mitchell proudly served his country in the US Air Force as a sergeant during the Iran-Iraq War. Mitch received his master’s degree from Thomas Edison State University. Mitch was a proud flight attendant for United Airlines, traveling around the world. He enjoyed paddling, cooking and singing.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday July 2nd from 9:30 a.m to 11 a.m. at Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North. Mitch’s Life Celebration Service will begin at 11 a.m. Military Honors will follow the Life Celebration Service.
