Nadine Friedrich's Obituary
Mary Nadine Friedrich (nee Donegan) died on November 4, 2022. She was born January 4, 1932, in Westfield, NJ, daughter of Christopher and Mary Donegan. She was a graduate of Melrose Academy, Elkins Park, PA, the College of New Rochelle, NY and the Institute of Paralegal Training, Philadelphia, PA.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Charles A. Friedrich and children: Deborah L. Hanks and husband (Marc), Christopher A. Friedrich, MD, PhD and wife (Jennifer Shores, MD), Carla A. Young, Esquire and husband (Matthew G. Young), Curt A. and wife (Catherine Friedrich), and Carin A. Troy and husband (Jonathan).
She is also survived by 12 grandchildren: Kara DesRoches (Bobby), Courtney Cahill (Ted), Kevin Young (Gwenn Berry), Julie Young (Matt Hanover), Ian Friedrich, Kelly Rainey (Kelvin), Lauren Black (Noah), Emily Troy, Viktoria Friedrich, Drew Friedrich, Hope Friedrich and Nicole Troy. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren: Connor, Garrett and Owen DesRoches. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, William Lawless, husband of her late sister, Audrey M., niece Christine Clayton and godson Cdr. John C. Lawless, plus many cousins and lifelong friends.
She was a charter member of St. Charles Borromeo Church, Cinnaminson, charter member Pomona Swim Club and the steering committee of CONTACT, Burlington County.
She served as a volunteer at St. Charles’ PTA, substitute teacher at Holy Cross High School, Delran, a member of the Trenton Diocese Advisory Board for Catholic Welfare Bureau, member of the Juvenile Conference Committee for first offenders in Cinnaminson, Juvenile Counselor for the Burlington County Probation Department, and a member of the Advisory Board of the Office on Aging of Burlington County.
Employment included: Delaware House of Catholic Welfare Bureau, Burlington, Social Worker for the Visiting Homemaker Home Health Aid Service, Mt. Holly, as a Civil Litigation Paralegal for Ballard Spahr Andrews and Ingersoll, Philadelphia and in later years, a REALTOR broker/salesperson, Executive Homes, Moorestown, Daigle and Gravenstine, Cinnaminson, then Prudential Preferred and finally Prudential Fox & Roach, Mt. Laurel, NJ.
The family welcomes you to the Visitation on Monday, November 7th from 6-8 pm and Tuesday November 8th from 8:30-9:30 am at Givnish Funeral Home, Cinnaminson, NJ. A Eulogy at the church will begin at 10:15 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Cinnaminson, NJ, followed by a luncheon.
