Nancy E. Carvette's Obituary
Nancy E. Carvette (Germano), of Marlton, passed away on October 2nd, 2024. Born in Norwalk, Connecticut, on October 16th, 1937, to the late Joseph Germano and the late Matilda Germano (Abruscato).
Beloved wife to Bob Carvette and loving mother of Linda Koszyk (James) and Darlene Anderson (Tom). Cherished grandmother to Mike Koszyk (Neda), Mark Koszyk (Suzi), Catherine Smith (TJ), and Christopher Anderson, and proud great-grandmother to Ben, Miles, Billie, and Lizzi. Precious sister to brothers Joseph Germano and Richard Germano and sister-in-law Joan Carvette, and caring aunt to her nieces and nephews.
Married to her high school sweetheart for 65 years, Nancy proudly devoted her life to caring for her family. While working and raising her daughters, she also attended college part-time. After earning her bachelor's degree, she worked as a social worker assisting the elderly.
An active member of St. Joan of Arc and St. Isaac Jogues in Marlton, Nancy loved teaching CCD, serving as a Eucharistic Minister, visiting the sick, and leading and attending prayer meetings. In all areas of her life, she put God and her family first, inspiring all who knew her with her joyful and gentle spirit.
Nancy enjoyed playing pinochle, dancing, traveling, camping, and golfing, and was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. She was the biggest fan, however, of her grandchildren -- cheering loudly in support of their various theatrical and sporting events, even serving as “honorary grandmom” to an entire wrestling team.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, October 7th, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Givnish Funeral Home of Marlton, located at 398 E Main Street. There will be a funeral mass held the following morning, October 8th, beginning at 11 a.m., at St. Isaac Jogues church in Marlton, located at 349 Evesboro-Medford Road. Burial will be private. Mass will be livestreamed: https://www.viewlogies.net/givnish/wEgyFsWpp?pin=058880
