Nancy Jean Cinti's Obituary
Nancy Jean Cinti (Lavelle), of Delran, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2021 at Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly, NJ. She was 83 years old.
Nancy was born in Plains, PA to the late Thomas and Flora (Parbuoni) Lavelle. She attended St. Mary’s College in South Bend, Indiana, where she graduated in 1959 with her bachelor’s degree in history. Nancy taught for the Archdiocese of Newark for over 20 years.
She married the love of her life, Angelo Cinti, in Stuttgart, Germany on January 20, 1962. They went on to raise their two sons, Thomas and John, in East Orange, NJ. After retiring, Nancy and Angelo settled in Delran, NJ.
She is survived by her beloved husband of almost 60 years, Angelo Roger Cinti; her two cherished sons, Thomas Cinti (and his wife Mayi) and John Cinti; and her adoring grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, and Catherine Grace. Nancy is also survived by many extended family members and friends who will miss her tremendously.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, October 29th, from 10 am to 11 am at Resurrection Parish, Church of the Holy Name site, 260 Conrow Rd., Delran, NJ. Her Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 am, followed by interment in Jesus, Bread of Life Cemetery, 3055 Fostertown Rd., Mount Laurel, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy’s memory may be made to either the Red Cross or Good Counsel Homes of South Jersey.
