Nancy L. Gunderson's Obituary
Nancy L. Gunderson of Mount Laurel passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019 with her beloved husband, Todd Gunderson, and loving children, Christopher and Carly Gunderson, by her side. Nancy was 63 years old. Nancy fought a long, hard battle against breast cancer, but continued to light up any room, no matter how hard she was fighting.
Nancy was born in Greenwich, Connecticut, and raised in Darien, Connecticut. She attended Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia and graduated with a degree in Special Education. She later went on to pursue a career in hospitality where she met Todd in 1982. She and Todd were happily married for 31 years. Nancy was a resident of Mount Laurel, NJ for 24 years. She worked as an Event Coordinator at Marco’s Restaurant at Indian Spring Country Club in Marlton, NJ for 17 years and a receptionist at Brightview Senior and Assisted Living Care in Marlton, NJ for several years. She was loved by many people in the community and beyond. She will be fondly missed as a warmhearted, strong, and selfless spirit.
In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Nancy was a loving sister to Catherine (Jefferey) Kozak and late Noreen Berry, and daughter to the late George and Ann Coughlin. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Gayle Richardson, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Please join us in remembering Nancy. Visitation will be held from 10-11am and subsequent Memorial Service at 11am on Friday, November 1, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 207 W Main St, Moorestown, NJ 08057. A luncheon service will follow at Indian Spring Country Club, 115 S Elmwood Rd, Marlton, NJ 08053. Nancy’s wish is for all those attending to wear her favorite colors: pink and green, as she wants this to be a joyous celebration of her life.
